2 weeks old Today
Yesterday I was changing Brayden's diaper and my finger hit his umbilical cord and it fell off. It freaked me out but I'm glad to see it gone. My little man is two weeks old today. It feels like he has been here longer. I have waited my whole life for him and I hope he knows how much we love him. This Christmas will be filled with lots of babies on both sides of our family. Merry Christmas Everyone!!
*I'll take pictures later he is sleeping in my lap so I better enjoy this silence lol

Brayden William White
December 4, 2011 Our lives would begin to change forever. At 8:15 pm my water broke and we were off to the hospital. I know labor is suppose to be hard, but WOW hard does not begin to describe what contractions feel like. After the DR gave me some medicine I was knocked out for a couple of hours. The doctor noticed that every time I would have a contraction Brayden's heartbeat would drop. She was very concerned, so in the end we decided to go ahead and take Brayden by having a c-section. I was nervous but at the same time I was exhausted and I just wanted my baby in my arms. In the end, God was looking out for our little man. The doctor said that Brayden had his cord wrapped around his throat. If I had tried to push and not do the c-section he could have possibly been strangled. Brayden William White entered this world at 3:59 am on December 5, 2011. He weighed 7 lbs 11 ounces (I remember it by 7-11 lol) and he was 20 inches. I think one of those inches was gained by Brayden's poor cone head when he was born. The hospital said it was from Brayden staying in the birth canal for too long. When we went coastal peds for his checkup they said he was 19 inches. I'm glad his head has shaped up much better. Brian was freaking out at first when he saw him. After two days in the hospital we finally were able to make our way home on December 7th. Our first stop was to see Grandma Mansfield! I am so glad to start our lives with our new little family.
